COBALT SHRED DENIM

The Cobalt Shred Denim started with one pocket. One tear, by hand, to see what the fabric would give. It gave everything — so the destruction kept going until the entire surface was shredded. 24 hours of hand-work. Every tear pulled one by one, instinctively, without template or plan. No machine, no pattern to follow. Just hands on fabric and a decision at every cut — how deep, how wide, how much structure to leave behind. The denim is heavy. Deliberately chosen thick enough to hold its shape even after full destruction. What remains is a garment that looks fragile but carries real weight. You feel it when you pick it up — this is not lightweight fashion. The cobalt blue is not dyed or treated. It's the original color of the salvaged denim — sourced from lost stock and donated materials. The wash shifts between deep blue and faded indigo depending on light and angle. Cut in W36/L34 with a wide, loose silhouette. This piece doesn't follow your body — it builds its own shape around you. 100% upcycled denim. Handmade in the PrototypesParis workshop, Paris.
