The Ghosted Signature Denim is three processes in one piece. First, the PrototypesParis logo is screen-printed onto cotton textile. Then the printed fabric is cut apart — deconstructed into fragments. Then those fragments are sewn back into the denim as patchwork.
The logo doesn't sit on the surface like a label. It's embedded in the garment's structure — scattered across the fabric in pieces, like a signal breaking apart. You recognize it, but never fully. That's the ghost.
20 to 30 hours of work. The screen-printing is precise. The cutting is deliberate. The stitching is by hand. Each step undoes the one before it — print it clean, then destroy the print, then rebuild it into something new.
The base denim is upcycled from salvaged stock. The cotton panels carrying the logo are sewn in with visible seams — the assembly is not hidden, it's architectural. Every join between denim and printed cotton is a visible decision.
100% upcycled materials. Handmade in the PrototypesParis workshop, Paris. This piece will never be reproduced.
