The Brut Ripped Denim is the same intervention as the Black, on raw brut fabric. Cut apart and re-sewn inside out — seams exposed, construction visible. But on brut denim, the effect is different. The lighter raw surface shows every stitch with less contrast and more texture. The seams don't cut — they surface. Same direct process — cut, flip, rebuild. No layering, no repeated passes. One gesture that changes the entire garment. The Ripped Denim line works through directness, not duration. Brut denim carries more visible grain than black. The weave is exposed, the raw indigo tone shifts where the fabric was folded and re-sewn. Every seam creates a ridge you can feel under your fingers — this is not flat construction. The Ripped Denim line is the entry point into PrototypesParis. Same workshop, same hands, same 1/1 commitment — expressed in its most direct form. Brut denim from salvaged stock. 100% upcycled.
